Amazon recently put out their list of 100 Science Fiction & Fantasy Titles to Read in a Lifetime .
List like this are always difficult to make, because who do you weed out of so many great sci-fi authors. There are a few that I would have changed. In just kids books, I can think of The Phantom Tollbooth, and The Black Cauldron series.
Since this handy list came out, I have decided that I am going to take the Amazon SciFi Challenge! I will read and post on each title in the list! You will be able to see where I am at by the handy “Currently Reading” widget on the right side.
That means I will be starting with 1984 by George Orwell. Like many of you, I read this in high school so it will be interesting to see how older me views the story.
